Bychko Valentin V. born on June 17 1912 in Kharkiv. He lived in Kiev. Died on October 31, 1994. He was buried in Kiev Baykove cemetery.
In 1932 he graduated from the Kharkov Institute of National Education, worked as a teacher in Kharkiv youth press, the editor of the newspaper "The Star", chief editor of publishing house "Youth" (1953-1956), editor of "Pioneriya" (1957-1959).

The author of the play "Regulation - two hours" (1932).
He began publishing his regular collection after the Second World War. He tried to write in lyrical, folk-song trend.
He Wrote tactical works of the Bolshevik vulgar content ("Son of October"1958; "He is in the hearts of us" 1961; " Lenin came to us"1966). According to the book "Blessing of the world" (1969) and "Family Album" (1976) he was awarded the literary prize named after Lesya Ukrainian (1977). Also he is the author of literary essay "Natalia Zabila" (1963).
He Translated Works of Russian Literature (Mayakovsky, Marshak, Mikhalkov), but most was translated of Lithuanian (E. Mezhelaytis, E. Matuzyavichyus, S. Neris, Y. Martsinkyavichyus) and Belarusian literature.
