June 1 marks the International Children's Day - one of the world's most "children's" holidays, whose origins began in 1925, when representatives of different countries first convened the "World Conference on the Welfare of Children" in Geneva. Following the conference, it was decided to celebrate the children's day in all countries of the world, which would be able to draw attention to the problems of childhood.
The main goals of the day are to promote peace, fraternization and mutual understanding between children; to call on parents, states, governmental and non-governmental organizations to protect their rights and freedoms. International Children's Day is also an occasion to remind adults of the need to respect the rights of children to life, freedom of thought and religion, education, leisure and leisure, protection against physical and psychological violence, and protection against the exploitation of child labor. Only in the protection of the rights and freedoms of the child is possible the formation of a humane and just society.
On the occasion of International Children's Day USPU library named after Pavlo Tychyna organized open literature review entitled "We all come from childhood" which is exhibited in the Department of Services.entitled "We are all from childhood", which is exhibited in the readers service department.
We invite everyone to watch!
