When the Valentine's Day falls in the middle of the week, it is difficult to prepare a gift in advance, but even at the last moment it is possible to think up something special. After all, the main value for Valentine's Day - tell the other half about their feelings.

As the chronicler Samuel Pepis wrote in the XVII century, on February 14, lovers exchanged little gifts: gloves, rings, and delicacies. But the unchanged attributes of the holiday are Valentine's cards.

The book exhibition "Rhythm in 120 strokes", which reveals the history and traditions of the holiday, is exhibited at St. Valentine's Day in the reading room № 2.
